The Resource Center for Cyberculture Studies is an online, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to research, teach, support, and create diverse and dynamic elements of cyberculture.

RCCS was originally founded by David Silver in 1996 at the University of Maryland, where it received generous support from the Department of American Studies. It later travelled to the University of Washington and enjoyed a final landing at the University of San Francisco.

On December 1, 2009, after a run of nearly a decade and a half, RCCS retired.
